Always thought ( kind of in a Kidding way ) That Archie Bunker had a Good idea when it came to Gun Control...

I think gun control is the wrong way to say it. I think it has become entirely too easy to buy guns. A person should have to take classes and a test before being allowed to own a gun.

Yeah, figured it will at some point in time Today...

But wanted to bring this subject up here.

This has been Talked about for years... of course it takes a day like yesterday for the Media to bring it up.

I think NickPap is right... People need to go through some training and pass a few tests...
Not saying it's the answer, but will help.

it's a broad question. As presented, I would say I'm opposed

but I support background checks, some short waiting period and restrictions based on mental health.

but criminals will always find ways to obtain them, it's always the law abiding citizens that pay the price.

We've had guns forever. How come we had none of this needless shit years ago. The sensationalism of the media just gives these whack jobs a forum to do their thing. I'm all for making it harder to buy guns but that won't keep guns out of the hands of the wrong people. Somebody that wants to do something this nut case did will find some way to do his thing.
