In my past when I owned my bar, I was very guilty of doing that. Had a guy that would come in every Saturday night and I would put in a meat order and he would go to the Super Market and steal it and be back in 10 minutes with whatever I ordered and I would give him .25 on the dollar.

I have in the past - knew a few dealers and they'd often get merchandise as payment, then turn it around for cheap. Got a few laptops back in the day this way... Don't think I'd do it now.

I actually had a guy on this site offer me ten cents on the dollar for my losing sports betting tickets so he could cheat on his taxes. I never responded to him. Stealing is one thing I wont do. Not that I'm big on morals, cause I'll gamble, use drugs and fuck hookers, but I'd never steal from another person.

I used to play sllw pitch softball alot and met a guy that always had new bats. I ended about buying a bunch of golf clubs from him, putters, drivers and a few bats. They still had stickers on them and he charged half of whatever sticker was. No clue where or how he was getting them and didnt care at the time

No. A good portion of the imported goods from the globe over that we buy are made on slave labor. So, knowing that, whether you get it at one price or another, its still got blood stains. You might say that the retailers are saling stolen property themselves.

I know a woman who steals large amounts of clothing ( she has a tag remover) and then takes them to the same name store but a few blocks away and returns them without receipt ( obvious ) and they give her gift card credit which she sells for 50 cents on the dollar.

She also trades the gift cards for gift cards at other stores and I can get almost anything anywhere for 1/2 price but have NEVER bought one.......

I don't believe in God or Karma and I know it's just a drop in the bucket for the company but I just can't get myself to buy one even though a 500 gift certificate for 250 is so appealing....

A friend got me a PS2 for $200 on the day they were released(if you're a gamer you know how hard they were to get when they were released). I didn't ask, but it was pretty obvious it was hot. Played it constantly for 7 years and then got $60 trade in toward a PS3. :)

I would use the Bill Clinton rule when it comes to this subject.

Dont ask, dont tell.
