I bought a refurb'd iPad 2 from Apple. I like it...but I'm not a "have to have a Mac" person. I don't have an iPhone.

pleased with my motorola xoom but have to be heavy google. if you're an I-guy then stick with apple

samsung galaxy 10 $349.00
is the one I would recommend

samsung makes high quality electronics and having android over apple bs = BIG WIN puff_>>

you might find a better deal than that around too if you get lucky for a gift card or something while making a buy!

I believe Toys R US has them for 329. (but tax obviously)

Yes, I have the Google nexus s but this tablet will be for my daughter. So games and apps will be her main use.

I actually have a google phone, honestly I really don't see much use for a tablet if you have a smart phone.

I would say Samsung or iPad.

If you do choose iPad, Walmart has a special on them for $399 and if your purchase it on 12/17 you get a free $30 gift card.

I plan on buying the Surface Pro, already have an ipad and don't use it very often (other than for movies or kids games). Need more windows features so it should be exactly what I want.

If not, I would get the IPAD if you really want a tablet
