Constant roughing the QB and PI calls all game long.

The referees should not be determining the outcome of these games.

That call last week on Cinci against Dez really did it for me. A legit shot in the chest of the WR the moment he catches a pass but it's called targeting? Seriously?

These defensive backs almost have to let a WR catch the ball, take a step and then tackle him around the ankles.

Every hard hit is a penalty now. If they don't call contact with the head, then they call "hit on a defenseless player" or "blind-side block".

I don't watch NFL games very often, but I think Monday Night needs a flex schedule too.

I gotta agree with the flex schedule thing too. Last year the Colts were scheduled on a lot of Monday Night games and it was painful to watch.

I started this thread a couple years ago and everyone yelled at me. Football is great, the nfl is awful. Take away all forms of gambling (including pools and fantasy) who would watch.

So true, They called PI against the Bears in the End Zone Sunday, The funny thing is the PI was called by the REF on the other side of the field, and the Ref that was on top of the play didn't even reach for his flag.

You know what? I was thinking the same thing and it even happens in a pickup basketball game etc. The referee closest to the play is in the best position to make the call. The referee away from the play should swallow the whistle unless they obviously see something.

The replacements were better, except for one game. Plus they don't bet as much money as the regular refs.

I heard the side judge that screwed Alshon Jeffery all day on Sunday just bought his own private plane.

Lets see we've had a

Chiefs thing
Cowboy thing
Referee thing
defense-less player thing
Tagliabue thing

what's next I agree with dd22 and the Gambling thought. So my next prediction is a suspension while under investigation....

Who/What/When/Where the Why will be a Gambling Problem...... :ohno:

John Gruden was all over the ref last night for a PI call against a Tenn DB. He was like I'm tired of these ticky tack PI calls, let the players play the game.

Jeffery also grabbed Shields by the face mask and threw him to the ground and Shields was called for PI. It went both ways. And you can't flex Monday night. Ticket holderswould be pissed if they changed a Sunday afternoon game to a Monday night.
