I don't know what the DOJ had on NetTeller...probably funds in USA banks...but you'd think that by this time some enterprising corporation would have developed a way to transfer funds in the same manner as it was done with NetTeller.

I would imagine it would have to be a company with no USA ties and no way the DOJ could interfere with their business. Seems to me that they could clean up with all the problems offshore processors are having nowadays.

The person that comes up with another "Type" of Netteller will be a VERY VERY RICH Man !

and as long as the funds are going From or to the USA... the DOJ has the upper hand and will try their best to take them down

Thanks for the Info Scott #%()

it was news to me until about a month ago. Not sure how long its been since they came back to the US market but it hasn't been that long. I haven't confirmed it with NETeller myself but one of the people in processing said it was true.

Paypal hasn't been an Option in YEARS..... not sure why you say, "Instead"

I think he means that you can use Paypal to send $ to a buddy that happens to be a posters at the forum but not directly to a sportsbook per-say. just like if you wanted to send me your friendship fees to my Paypal account Bas, which are 6 months in the rears btw.

thats my understanding. Non gaming related is fine. That's why Paypal never left the US market like NETeller did. Paypal made an agreement with the US that they would not allow their services to be used for gaming and thus were allowed to stay in the US market. NETeller didn't. But that appears to have changed. Again, not confirmed by me but sounds like it is.

Just tried to signup with Neteller, and it said 'service not available in your area' or something to that effect

Anyone can check it out for themselves

I tried to login to my existing Neteller account, and it says:

[h=1]Non-service country[/h] NETELLER accounts are not currently available to residents of the United States of America.

It appears to be checking IP addresses, and not even allowing you to try and login if you have a US IP address.

Bitcoins are the new Neteller. Do a search for it, there have been a few threads on here about it. It's actually better than Neteller because there is no central authority (like Netller, Paypal, etc.) to shut down or block what you are doing.
