2012 - how was it for you?

was 2012 a good year? It's been a hell of a year in many respects. Some good some bad for me but overall a great year for me personally. I feel 2013 will be the best of my life and I hope you all have a great one too.

On a business note. I have had the pleasure of being the voice of the RX with respect to the JustBet a year ago almost to the day and while I recently moved to a different department, I am very pleased to have been a part of your lives over the last year. Little as it may be. The RX has a lot of great guys like BAS, Murph, Boat and just too many to name em all. I want to just give a shout out to all the RX posters and wish you all and your loved ones a very merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and I hope that 2013 is all and more that you can hope to be.

Congrats on the promotion. I hope your getting paid more at your new position. I always enjoyed bullshitting with you. If your not getting paid more you should go back to the old position because this "tex" guys keeps calling me with bs....

My own year went by very fast and I have went through a lot of money trying to figure out my next step in life... still yet to be determined but hopefully I can get back in the groove soon

Every year i think "it cant get any worse"....and every year it does. Overall though i have to admit if my Heart doctor appt tomorrow goes any kind of well i guess this year hasnt been as bad as i thought it would.

On my 0-100 Misery Index i would have predicted at least a 95, it looks like i could end the year around 87 or so. Ok im lying, if 99 was suicidal id be around 96.5 right now.(<)<

Other than a minor stroke, which I have made a pretty damn good recovery from, it's been a good year. Rest of the family is healthy, made a few bucks gambling, playing for a fantasy championship this week and work has picked up this year.

Had a lot of bad things happen this past year, but overall still an OK year considering. Started the year out with my son getting in an accident( he wasn't hurt) and then finding out he had a drinking problem and lost his job. He is now almost a year without a drink and found another job and is doing well, so things turned out well. I then had an episode this past summer where I thought I was having a heart attack while playing golf. Ended up getting a stress test and heart cath and the results came back fine. Still not sure what caused my pain that day playing golf, but have felt great ever since. Also found out my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. She has since had the lump removed and now getting treatment and looks like she will be fine. The year ended on a sour note also as we found out at work that will be taking our doubletime sunday pay away from us starting in 2013. Gonna cost me about $6,000 a year. But overall, life is still good....

easily the worst year of my life professionally and personally. The only positive is that I made a profit sports gambling for the overall year.

I have high hopes that 2013 will be an amazing year for me since I start a great new job in a week and I have made a commitment to myself to start writing my first novel (which besides sports betting is my real passion). Iu winning a championship would be a nice bonus as well. I also plan to continue sports betting regularly. Should be a busy, fun, and exciting year for me.
