Do you guys do anything different when Handicapping the Week 17 of the NFL?

I look to play on bad teams at home. They usually play hard in the last game, don't want to get embarrassed, and are playing for jobs.

great question..would like to see more discussion on this....i look for the obvious motivation, but also teams I feel have packed it in like the Titans for example...look at their effort over the last 2 games....

could see Carolina just mailing it in the last game....

im really liking the Chiefs, Jags, Saints this week....

Cheifs should have BLOWN OUT the Colts...They dominated every aspect of that game but had 4 red zone turnovers and a missed FG...I dont think they will give up and they are getting a ton of points...Division game....watch out now

i usually just bet against good teams playing for nothing and on bad teams who are playing the spoiler roll. these scenarios pretty much dont exist this week. the good teams are still playing for homefield and the bad teams wont get excited to simply knock them a seed down.

I already bet the Jags +4 expecting the line to drop and I feel getting the better team.

Denver is going to have their way with KC. They'll be covering by the end of the 1st quarter.

I don't know... The Books didn't just throw a 16 at everyone because they think they will have even action.

I usually try to find value in the NFL... I take the number seriously, unlike NBA where I always want to have the better team...

But Week 17, value is out the window, and I want the better team that doesn't have everything locked up...

Truly I hate Week 17 and rarely ever play anything...

Hell no!! I was drunk when I wrote that. But I do believe the broncos jump out early and cruise. I already took them -16 and teased them with sf and Seattle.
