What were some of your Favorite Nintendo Games?

Super Mario 3 greatest game ever.
only flaw with the nes was you could not save games.
would have loved to play mario3 without having to leave the machine on for days at a time just so I would not lose my progress

Without a Doubt, I knew this would be the number 1 answer..... I always played with the Bears... Mike Singletary has a 1000000 interceptions and just slightly fewer sacks for me in my Tecmo Bowl Career....

Loved how you could swerve back and forth to make defender who dove miss you....

with a lot of the games, they would give you codes to put in... I guess that would be hard for Mario unless it was always X number of lives once you used the code...

Baseball Stars was great. 1st sports game I remember that you could create your own franchise from scratch. The more games you won, the more money you got to improve your team.

The game would also keep track of the standings and keep your stats.

I play all the time on Nintendo http://virtualnes.com and Sega on http://ssega.com Go there to play 1000s of the games :toast:

Nintendo I like Super Tecmo Bowl and Bad News Baseball. Sega I never can stop myself from playing NHL 94 (best game ever made) or Super Off Road.

No it was the NES, still play it, just did it a month or so ago...

Remember after winning a game in Super Tecmo Bowl they would go to the "newspaper" to see the boxscore... there would be a code there like
erfa5df4a then next time you played you just put in the code

YESSS!

I totally didn't want to list mine to see if anyone else said Bad News Baseball.... Still my favorite! That's usually what I play.... BTW Chop another game that has codes........

Another one I loved was LoLo like a puzzle solving game... My mom and I would play that... There was a pattern to the codes and my mom cracked it for us so if there was a level we couldn't beat we would just skip it.

woohooo Bad News Baseball RAWKS man! :money:
yea the bad news baseball codes are useful because then you can try to get the perfect season no losses.. I swear (probably just all in my head) but no matter how good you are at the game and blowout teams in beginning of it they get really hard as you go along so you need the damn code as a backup to the marathon 20 games puff_>>

Zelda. Metroid. Ninja Gaiden and Contra for action games. and Tecmo Bowl by far for sports games. also RBI baseball with the fat players. tons of games for sure i played. those are the 1's on top of my head.

and gotta love when a game gave you problem you grabbed your rubbing alcohol and qtip and cleaned the game. and if that did not work you put the game in and a game on top to keep the game down and locked into the system.
