Yes they lost my trust when they rated Hugo & Drive 90+ .... Shows how sick in the head most movie critics are...
my folks went, both in their 60's. They thought it was garbage, hard to concentrate on the acting and plot line with language, violence, and racsim ( feeding blacks to dogs). Granted this is coming from a couple in their 60's but they see alot of movies and rarely have this reaction. My mothers opion of Tarinitno is that he lacks true skills and is using graphic language, situations, etc. to recaputure his Resivour Days and Pulp Fiction glory. I also believe from talking to her that she cannot stand Leo. Anyway, for what it's worth.
You didn't like Drive? I thought it was good, maybe not 90+ worthy, but good. I assume you understand that a 90% doesn't mean everyone gives it 10 out of 10, it just means that it got a positive review from the critic. So just because a movie has such a high rating, dont assume its going to blow you away, just assume it will be good. I rarely have seen a movie rated 75% or higher that i didnt like(as long as it was in a genre i liked)
too campy,,, denzell only takes "lead roles" no campyness,, and tarantino is KING of campy,,, he was funny on stern,,, i give the guy credit, hes stayed true to his vision in all movies,, over the top graphics,,,

I HOPE this movie has a slice of reality as thats what his "THING has become,,, satirical farsicle campy realities,,, lololol,,, hows that for a FVKNG slew of adjectives???? hahahha

It was ok, but like you said Jstack not worth 90+ (I just looked it was 93) and it was the high praise for Hugo, one of the worst movies I've ever seen, which taught me once & for all to never listen to movie-critics again and that we always have to watch ourselves and make our own judgement...
