We had some excellent Sliced Turkey and Spiral Ham leftover from The Big Christmas Day Meal. Also some Homemade Pecan Pie and Fudge left to go around also. What leftover Christmas Day food do you like and do you make sure you get a to go bag for later on in the week? How long does your to go bag last or will you chow it down today?

The older generation of my family who are now no longer with us were the people who really would cook huge meals for Christmas. We are talking enough food to feed the 10th Marines. Those are the days when you could really get a monster to go bag that would last for days until you would just get sick and tired of eating Holiday Food. Privately however you would never admit it to your elders for fear of never again being able to secure a to go back the next year. The older generation never failed to provide a huge meal for the kids and grandkids at Christmas and God Bless Them for their efforts and patience.

stuffing is my favorite holiday food... so gotta have some leftovers... I am not a big fan of turkey unless its on a turkey sandwhich (not lunch meat either) but like leftover turkey with salt pepper and mayo.... the Ham we had on Christmas was some of the best ham I've had..
