The Jets are going back to QB Mark Sanchez, instead of Tim Tebow, in their season finale.

[h=3]FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP)[/h] Greg McElroy has a concussion and will be replaced by Mark Sanchez as the New York Jets' starting quarterback in the season finale at Buffalo on Sunday.

Coach Rex Ryan says Thursday that McElroy, preparing to make his second NFL start in place of the benched Sanchez, was lifting weights and had headaches. He went to the team's training staff and then revealed he was suffering concussion-like symptoms after being sacked 11 times in the Jets' 27-17 loss to San Diego last Sunday.

Ryan says he chose to start Sanchez over Tim Tebow because the team has just two practices and a walkthrough to prepare before the game and he feels ''more comfortable'' with Sanchez. Sanchez was benched after turning the ball over five times at Tennessee on Dec. 17.

Looks to me like Ryan was against bringing in Tebow since the beginning and one of the highers ups wanted him. Now Rex is standing his ground by not playing him.

I hope Rex and Sparano are fired as soon as the game is finished Sunday.

Rooftop is right about starting Tebow. Sanchez is a much safer bet for Rex's future.

but with that said, i'd be fucking pissed if I were Tebow right now. I'd go on the media and say "fuck you rex and fuck you to the jets organization, and for all those idiots that think i'm a virgin, hahaha, wanna buy some magic beans?"

They are stuck with him for 1 more year. NFL you can release these guys anytime and only have to worry about Signing Bonus or Guaranteed money.

Yea, its definitely a "Cover Your Ass" move by Rex. If Tebow wins and looks good then everyone will question Rexs decision making all year on the Jets QB situation

Exactly. Ryan is a proven POS here. Talked a good game but now, when the season is over and Tebow finally has a chance, he says "Fuck You!" . There is no excuse, just goes to prove what I always said, 'The Jets and their organization are Classless Mother Fukkers'!

Jets are the East Coast Raiders.....saw on SC that Sanchez is only ranked higher in QBR than the two Zona QBs.....I think he has some dirt on Rex.

Don't you think if Tebow showed anything in practice, he would be playing? He went to the Jets thinking he could beat out Sanchez and didn't.

Recapping the Jets QB situation, you have a qb from Bustout U (USC), and two game- managers from the SEC. Nice talent evaluation there.
