Shouldnt we be a species of less or absolutely no care and concern???
I know there are many crazy people out there who commit these brutal acts and seem to do it heartlessly with no regret or remorse. But overall we are a very caring as a the human race. Many charities out there and a desire to help people in need. When something bad happens before your eyes you get that 'sick' feeling in the pit of your stomach. Or you get an anger for revenge, scared, sad... either way you get a reaction
I say this in recent events of the Newton Elementary school shootings. I bet that 99.999% of people out there find this sad and disturbing. And are not ok with innocent children being killed like this. But doesnt this contradict the teachings of our so called origins? :think2:

I'd say the human race has been moving away from survival of the fittest for quite some time now

Many unanswerable questions in our consciousness. I posed a question in a local paper lately about the Devil being a creation of God and asking how anything that God creates could be bad. Needless to say, there are too many people round that cannot handle the idea of God being bad. Most people want to be Good but fall short of success. Pretty hard to be perfect when not even God can be. Good Luck! PS Only Perfect Person I know is/was John Riggins!

I have heard many debates/arguments on this as well. Best answer I ever heard was a question back saying, "where does God say life is to be easy and not exist of any bad? what he does say is we are free to chose our own will" or something along those lines

My neighbor is a college professor and his class is always having 'theory' based debates and papers. Was drinking a beer while taking down Christmas decorations with him the other day and we got to talking about this, which was their latest discussion. Was just curious to hear some other thoughts on this

I agree. Any God as capricious as the Jewish/Christian God can be as Good or Bad as he wants because He/She is God and if he wants to have A Devil do his bidding, he is allowed to let him/her do whatever thy please. He/She has seen most everything and is not easily amused.
