W/O clicking the link I am assuming its the play where he was out of bounds and caught the kick off. Chad Morton did that with the Skins like 8 years ago and Leon Washington did it a little more recently

Chop I think I drafted him in the last round (Or picked him up afterwards) in our fantasy draft, and then cut him like an idiot a week or two later....

That is a dumb rule. He's exploiting it and good job on his part but it is fucking dumb.

It should follow the same rule as most other out-of-bounds rules. If a player goes out of bounds they shouldn't be the first person to touch the ball.

Good point. Didn't the Patriots pull some stunt at the Superbowl this year where they had 12 men on the field or something like that? Anyone remember the play? It worked to their advantage.

My mistake, it was the Giants and here's the article about it

That reminds me of how important the clock is. I don't remember which game it was but it was a college game this year. There were something like 8 seconds left on the clock and the team that was behind was at about 5 yards from the end zone looking to tie up the game. The announcer said that the coach should tell the pass defenders to interfere on every play. The passing team would get a penalty but a few seconds would wind off the clock.

Needless to say, the defending team didn't tackle every receiver and the passing team scored and tied it up and won in OT. You guessed it, I had the defending team.
