Do you play it?
Do you fade it?

Do you have a favorite service that you fade?
Do you have a favorite service that you play?

I see all these picks that people pay good money for and dont know what to do with them.

I rarely follow people but im going to do that now for NBA and college basketball because I suck in those sports.

Its funny because that was the original reason I joined the site long ago. Shows how much you learn over time...

I read them all. Don’t pay any attention to those that just give a prediction without a write up. I want to know why they pick a certain team.

The Rag letter that is a must for me is Statfox, they do all the heavy statistical work for you like who has the spread edge etc. they also provide a situation angle for every game. I.E.

This week…

Play On - Road teams (GREEN
BAY) - a good team (+3 to +7
PPG differential) against an average
team (+/- 3 PPG differential),
after allowing 17 points or
less in 2 straight games.

The situation’s record is 26-4
over the last 10 seasons (86.7%,
+21.6 units).

I don't ever understand this philosophy. If a service hits between 57-60% in all sports, why do you care if they have a writeup or not?

A guy could tell me he gets his picks from Ms. Cleo. A guy could tell me he heard whispers in the night while he was asleep. A guy could tell me he found five winners under the couch cushion along with a moldy piece of pizza. A guy could tell me all of those things and I wouldn't give two shits as long as the plays win.

Always check it out when I am in betting mode to see if the touts are misreading the sports world as much as I am. I have better results following someone who is hot rather than fading someone who is cold for some reason.

Whatever floats your boat.

Agree with Dave, while I don't expect them to reveal every reason for their pick I would like to have some insight into their methodology. Anyone can just run hot over 200 plays and tell you they are winning. Although I really don't use services anyway to be honest.
