For those that Dream of Winning the Lottery

We all know understand odds and its important to keep in mind..... We all know its ridiculous when you think about the actual chance you have of winning a Mega Millions/Powerball ect...

The highest scratch lottery tickets in Virginia are $20 for the 1 Million Dollar Prize.. Chance of Winning top prize are normally 1:500,000-600,000

I never play scratchers. I play the lottery for life changing money so I would only play the $20 ones and that's just not want I like to do.... So I normally play the Mega Millions here and there, but I know its a waste of money even if its just $5 at a time...

However, Virginia Lottery once a year has my favorite game... It's a "raffle" on New Years Day... It's $20 a ticket, a limited number of tickets, this year its 440,000... 4 One Million dollar prize... 4 50k prizes and 500 $500 prizes...

anyways, last year they advertised it as you best odds in any state lottery to win a $million ... this year they just say your best odds, not sure if another state topped them...

But it's a 1:110,000 to Win A Million bucks... Probably the best odds I will ever get...

May want to see if your state does anything like this, much better chance for your money if youre not looking for a breakeven prize....

I love the new years day raffle also.. so many prizes and a limited number of tickets sold

I plan to buy one for ohio and one for michigan since I am on border puff_>>

I buy lotto tickets maybe once a month. ALL time record is about 3-800 with winnings of around $10
But I still keep coming back for more. All it takes is 1 hit to win it big puff_>>

These new year tickets would be much cooler even if they announced the winning numbers live (all thousands of them!. rofl)

it does get pretty anti-climatic scrolling the numbers on winner list after the fact.. but still i'd love to hit one!
