I am conflicted...Like Peterson waaaay better than Dickerson yet as an Indy fan, want Manning to get MVP and Peterson breaking rushing record will at least be Co-MVP.

At least it would come at a game important time unlike half of calvin johnson's yards. Peterson is the only guy I can remember that could physically have played in the NFL a year after high school.

Agreed. I was hoping he would get it at end. In this day and age, rushing that many yards/ times is impressive.

I bitched in 2003 when McNair stole half of Peyton's MVP...I wouldn't bitch this season.

I vote Peterson for MVP this year. He is carrying this team. Record or not he has a great season. I dont expect them to get out the 1st round though

i'm not a record guy but i wish that last big run he had got the record. Would've been so fitting. Big game needed to win for playoffs....on the cusp of FG range and a big run to get them a high % FG try....huge play
