Mods, help please.

What is the policy about posting an outside website link?

I can understand (don't agree with) but understand about you not wanting us to link to an outside gambling-related website but what is the policy regarding other sites such as twitter etc.?

I'm always confused by this. Can you clarify?

u can not post your own twitter or another persons.. U posted a link to twitter and then said what the users name was...that would be leading an awful lot of posters to the touthouse if guy changes over to tout and we dont promote that kind of thing.

but sure you wanna post "generic" twitter.com espn.com whatever.com is fine.. but to link to an outside place where picks are made, no..
guy has a twitter account and is posting his picks....if he had no ill intentions why does he not just post across the street where he started?

Wasnt really needed bud....every play was going to be posted in that thread 100 times like it was anyway.. no need for pms and twitters and what not being spammed basically (not that you did this)..

sorry but you technically did nothing wrong.. I just am not gonna lead 100s of posters to a potential touts pocket book.. just something I will never do personally. :)

In that thread guys openly discuss twitter and his twitter handle is posted no less than five times. Are you saying they just can't be posted together in one post? His twitter handle can't be posted or?

twitter handle is a no-no for me. (I only noticed yours and a few others, didnt allow them)...I know you were just trying to be helpful so I commend that part. Earlier in thread I had requested that no one post links to his twitter, you probably missed that post is all.

Other mods might have slightly different personal preference.. but I have deleted them out of dozens of rx posters signatures just like I would a web address

One more question Murphy. Don't you guys do this with Ace Ace who is a tout? You guys not only endorse him as a tout but give him is own forum and actually encourage users to sign up with him. It's ok with him but not others?

Can you clarify? Thanks.

What if a guy asked for a recipe and I posted the handle of a professional cook that posts great recipes on twitter? That's not ok?

ACE ACE I dont personally deal with much but he basically pays to be a sponsor here. so its no different then how ezstreet wagerweb justbet. etc are allowed to post and what not freely :)

umm chefs dont sell betting picks bud @)...so it probably wouldnt ever be brought up...but in general u can post a link.. if we dont like it we will delete it.. really thats best I can tell ya

but just to give u an example is that I have deleted plenty of twitter out of guys sigs.. its not needed.. either post the plays here or dont.. but its 90% because of sports.. so if it isnt sports related I have not deleted it

1) So, if other touts paid you guys to advertise their plays, they could have their own forum here? That would make sense I guess.

2) Are you familiar with twitter Murphy? Just because a guy posts plays on twitter it doesn't mean he's selling anything. That guy I posted about today isn't selling anything. There are plenty of guys on twitter that just post great sports information 100% free.

Is it safe to say there is no set policy and you guys just use your best judgement on what to delete and what not to delete?

I'll answer this one on Ace Ace.

Ace Ace was nice enough to Partner with some Promo's with a few Books and SportsOptions
The RX figured it would be a nice little Promo where you Keep your deposits to play with, and get a little something extra.

as much as people think about Ace Ace, I think we had over 70 sign ups with the multiple Promo's

Betall, so if poster X signs up with a book or SO then the deal is they get his plays as well as a nice perk and in return you guys give him his own forum? I think that's how I reading it.

Would you do this for other touts?

I'm not sure what the detail's are with Ace & The RX.

We as Mods don't handle this part of the Forum business.

Fair enough. I think I'm pretty close though. I wonder if management solicits touts as potential advertising clients?

Now I could understand your point about Twitter...

Here's the problem. If were to allow the Posting of Twitter accounts, How do we not know "IF" someone is Shilling the Twitter account ??

Just like in the service play forum... we go through this so many times with if someone is just posting plays, or Shilling.

This is why we Don't allow them to post URL's or Links Just the name of the service

Yeah, fair enough. It's a fine line I get it but I also feel as a poster that you guys as RX reps don't have anything to worry about because your product is good. I wouldn't be so worried about competition if you're confident in your product.
