Larry is probably getting a hard on thinking about a pass happy offense. Just need a respectable QB. Saying he may try to salvage Kolb.

Reid is a downgrade from who they just fired.....sooner or later the people outside of philly will see what reid is.....a below average head coach.

Sickening to watch the national media blow reid like he's lombardi....terrible time management, game planner and talent evaluator.

I think KC might grab him up first. They have some offensive weapons he could use also and now that they know iron is hot they might strike!

I wood never hire him as a head coach.

Only a matter of time before he gets a track quarterback. Prob. will go to KC and set them back another 4 years with RG version 43. Teddy Bridgewater will be RG 44.

Where ever Andy goes, his 1st move should be to bring in Norv as OC and Lovie as DC

In this fantasy of yours does Money really Grow on Trees? :):)

what team on earth has that much money bud?

I am pretty sure those guys wouldnt settle for "less than they expect" and as a OC and DC they wont get paid that.. fun to dream about but no team every has the dream team of coaching.. its one good guy and a bunch of his no name buddies normally.

Of course there is no chance of this coaching trio happening but I would pitch to them the "Winning" element just like they do in the NBA LOL

KC may jump and sign him asap , they have some talent to work with and he would seem to be a decent fit there. i thought he may have taken a year off and kind of refocused but guess he is ready to jump right back in.

Once a coach always a coach. Maybe no one wanted him as an analyst at ESPN, NBC, Fox or CBS. Gruden seems to be very happy as an analyst. So does a former Pitt coach. Must be paying them big bucks to stay in the booth or on the set. Amazing that you don't see Parcels name any longer. He probably priced himself out of the market.

I guess the control factor must have been the deciding factor.

So the Chiefs will have an unhappy Charles if Reid brings that pass happy offense intact.

ESPN reporting he is about to sign with KC. Had the "breaking news" across the bottom of the screen.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of a deal to make Andy Reid their next head coach, according to league sources.
There still are minor details to work out but after nine hours of meetings Wednesday, one source involved in the talks said "the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon."

Andy Reid was the winningest coach in Eagles franchise history. Since Reid's arrival in Philadelphia in 1999, the Eagles have recorded 130 regular-season wins, the NFL's sixth-highest total in that span. Philadelphia also had 10 postseason wins, the third-most since 1999, and claimed six division titles, also the third-most, under Reid.

One source close to Reid said this morning, "This is going to happen fast." The two sides spent the day Wednesday meeting at a private airport in the Philadelphia area. Reid had been scheduled to fly to Arizona to speak to Cardinals officials about their head coaching opening, but talks progressed with the Chiefs to the point where no hangups are expected.
The Chiefs' contingent of officials included owner Clark Hunt, general manager Scott Pioli, executive Ryan Petkoff and president Mark Donovan, who used to work in Philadelphia with Reid.
By the end of the day, the expectation amongst the parties in attendance was that a deal would be wrapped up. One assistant coach aligned with Reid even texted Thursday morning that he is going to Kansas City, not Arizona. Once the deal is finalized, the next question in Kansas City will shift to the future of Pioli. Reid is expected to want to bring his own personnel men to Kansas City, which does not bode well for the future of Pioli. Reid worked in Philadelphia with former Browns general manager Tom Heckert, who is expected to be one candidate. Reid also is best friends with Packers director of football operations John Dorsey, who has interviewed for other general managers in the past.
