The sexuall intellectuals at espn are saying Louisville beating Florida is the biggest bcs upset , but imo it's still the Boise over Oklahoma game.

I'd lean towards Ohio State over Miami in the 2003 title game, although spread wise it was Louisville over Florida.

BCS games Boise, Utah, and this last Louiseville game...

BCS started in 1998
Title games wise

2005 title Jan 06 game....
Texas winner
The opening line on the game was USC at -6. The spread has since shifted to -7.5, and even as high as -8, to accommodate the heavy action on the popular Trojans. The total has held firm since opening at 71.

Comes to mind... (I liked Texas).

I agree with this.. Louisville was a nice upset.. but it was only considered big because Florida was in the almighty SEC.. lol...lousiville wanted to win and came prepared. simple.

Boise St upset over Oklahoma was absolute MAYHEM.. the trickery and shootout style of the game made it epic to watch.. everyone remembers where they were and they didnt miss watching that game.. was a moment in sports history imo and it brought into the limelight all of the talk of bcs busters and conference realignment we see today in major discussions and happenings.

Biggest upset was when Miami got absolutely robbed of the title against Ohio st.

The Oklahoma ones really aren't that big of upsets considering the joke stoops is.

Boise St. Oklahoma wasn't the biggest upset....lots were on the boise st train already

but that was the most memorable game in BCS history....new years day, small school vs big school, trick plays, OT, 2 pt conversions, it was probably one of the best college games i remember watching.

I agree the holding call was terrible, but Chris Gamble was inbounds on 3rd and 10 and the Buckeyes wouldn't have needed OT.

That Boise game had a much more bigger upset feel because it felt like they finally broke through for all the non power schools

Actually it was called pass interference which was doubtful. The ref was interviewed after the game and said he would have called holding if it wasn't for the pass interference. There was also a facemask by the defender. Any one of the 3 could have been called.
