SAN DIEGO -- A dead body was discovered zipped up in a sleeping bag in a car at a grocery store's parking lot on Thursday.
Deputies and fire officials were called to the Albertson's supermarket in Fallbrook, Calif., around 7:15 p.m. local time (10:15 p.m. ET). The body was found inside a 1997 Toyota Forerunner.

Homicide detectives later responded to the scene.

"At this point we don't know whose it is -- we don't even know if it is male or female -- just that it appears suspicious," San Diego Sheriff's Department Sgt. Patrick Yates said. "The body is dead [and] the circumstances are suspicious."

A family member said that the Toyota Forerunner belongs to Alvin Bulaoro, 24. He's been missing since Dec. 21.
Bulaoro's family was at the scene on Thursday night.

Bulaoro's brother said the family had hired a private investigator to search for their missing relative. The private investigator told the family that Bulaoro's car had been spotted in the Albertson's parking lot.

Bulaoro's brother said he went to the lot, found the car and called authorities.

Ah yes, but when was the last time a murderer zipped a body into a sleeping bag and left the car. Could have died of natural causes...
