Just an absurd thought.

Guy hasn't thrown a pass all year. The flow of the offense is disrupted when you take out your QB no matter who it is.

considering Vikes were 31st in passing yards this year, doesnt sound like Ponder was getting the job done..... Although I do still like Ponder

Joe Webb is awful. How he has stuck around so long as a QB in this league is a mystery to me.

Redskins didn't struggle at all when they took out their "quarterback"

Joe Webb isn't even an NFL caliber quarterback. He isn't even a Division 1 caliber quarterback assuming you have to run a real offense.

What do the Redskins have to do with Joe Webb?

I know you have a raging woody for K. Cousins but this thread is about the Vikings and their QB.

I never thought much of Ponder. He didn't even do much at Florida State. I can't blame teams for swinging and missing though on pocket (white) quarterbacks. You basically have to have 1 in todays NFL to be a solid team year in and year out.

I would even consider if I didn't have a franchise quarterback to take 1 every year or every other year because once you get it right, under the current rules, sky's the limit. Great quarterbacks can make up for shit offensive lines and lousy defenses. For years the colts had peyton and knew they would be in it every year and now with Luck, know they will be in it every year. Besides Luck, all they have is Wayne and Mathis....Freeney is overated.

Your words " The flow of the offense is disrupted when you take out your QB no matter who it is."

Just saying you were wrong.

Dude, what is your white vs. black issue? You're worse than GTC.

Or A. Smith or Flynn. Ponder is not the answer and if he got them 10 wins then certainly another QB is worth 2 more if not more.
Fran Tarkenton could step in today and do better than Webb. But with all due respect, so could Randall Cunningham.
