Sling Box is a good device. You can watch your tv from your house to any device through the internet(ipad,iphone,pc) You can only watch what you subscribe to DTV,Cable,etc. The down side is someone can't watch something else while you are watching a sling of the tv. I have DTV and have all the sports packages so I never worry about missing something if i am not home. Watch on my iphone all the time. I use it on my TV in the basement that nobody every really watches.
