Robert Griffin III needed total knee reconstruction


Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (knee) needed his right anterior cruciate ligament repaired Wednesday, Jan. 9, in addition to his right lateral collateral ligament, according to the quarterback's father. "Robert's ACL is intact, but not enough for his profession," Robert Griffin II said, via text. "You and I could be fine. But he is an athlete. So they will replace." The timetable for Griffin's recovery is unknown at this point. Because he needed reconstruction on both his ACL and LCL, Griffin could need longer than the original six to eight month timetable. Full reconstruction of the LCL typically takes up to 12 months to recover from.

The Coast Casino's in Vegas (Gold Coast, Orleans, Sun Coast) have New England at -10 and Denver at -10.5. Wynn just up'ed the Denver line to -10, and the Mirage dropped it to -9. That tells me that some high rollers are playing the game at certain shops, and it does not take a lot of money to move a line. Not much more.
