Hi Folks - I mentioned yesterday I am going to be pursuing another venture... something I can pursue online that allows me the opportunity to join my wife in Colombia. I also mentioned, this is all being done with the blessings and best wishes of EZStreetSports.

Yet, and as I have discovered over and over in this lovely business of ours, rumors occur which have no foundation in truth and so I am here to address what has already come to my attention from a few calls I received from folks who view this forum.

I am not leaving EZStreetSports in spirit. I am not moving on with another sportsbook in any type of marketing capacity nor any form of customer acquisition or maintenance capacity.

In fact and the core truth is this - I used to be in this business years ago. During a time when people would actually make deals with a handshake and honor them. Where the players for the most part were who and what they say they were. Where people did things the right way. Unfortunately, what I experienced the last 5 months has disheartened me so much about this business that I jumped at this new opportunity which allows me to be free of the biz.

I have seen a good book, stand up people, honest and with a quality that cannot be matched by any other quality - and that is that if they take on a player and that player wins fair and square and wants their money, they get paid and paid lightning fast and in fact, if they request their payout on Tuesday morning, they get it for free.

There is not one thing else that matters about being a deposit site sports book more than this - nothing comes close. And yet I have experienced more BS from the general forum crowds (not necessarily here at theRx but a few other sites) which has me so irritated that I no longer can stand this business.

I joined up with good folks who do the right thing - I saw it myself week after week... and yet I have to read lies, inuendos, fantasy concoctions, etc about my company and nothing that anyone can say (much less do) ever seems to have the same impact to the general customer population of customers for sports books like EZStreet. Lies and rumors win out over the truth. How can this be?

Yet folks will go to some site like SBR and buy into the BS and deposit at clown shows like BetIslands turned out to be and then do everything they can to twist situations into making EZStreet look like they are the bad guys for trying to help out legitimate players who got burned at BI.

Go Figure...

So anyways, I apologize for my rant but it breaks my heart when I saw the looks on a few folks faces when they had to deal with BS calls and e-mails where instead of being viewed as the actual good guys I saw on a daily basis do over and over and over the rightest things get treated the way they got treated the last several weeks.

My move from EZStreet has been blessed and appreciated because I am putting my family first (which means something to classy folks by the way). We remain on the best of terms. And if I keep reading the BS I see on so many of these forums (and I am sorry to say but I saw a little bit of this even here on theRx... even though theRx crowd is the classiest crowd on any of these forums) then I am going to continue to jump in.

Situations like BetIslands happen because of the way this industry has evolved and that means we are all responsible to some extent. Until we, as individuals, start emulating the standards we expect to see when we look in the mirror, we will continue to produce new BetIslands and companies like EZStreet are treated improperly and erroneously.

Best Regards, friends of theRx.com

Good Luck Pete. I've always supported Easystreet. F the clowns at SBR. I was banned a year and half ago for supporting Easystreet. Sbrjohn, Shari91, Titslou are all lying crooks. Shari91 is geting what she deserves from the gang over at EOG.

I gave it to Shari91 and SBR John a few times here. Pissed me off when SBR John told his forum that Easytreet would be out of business within 4 months. By the way he made the statement 1.5 years ago. I hope Shari91, SBR John and Lou get their just desserts for par-taking in the theft of 1.5 million dollars.

Hopefully your new job goes well and I am glad you get to see your family pete.. its hard to stop the dramatics following around the betislands case.. and even if EZstreet was trying to be a savior for some, of course there will always be the naysayers and rumor mill.. I will admit people were hurt really bad by betislands and I can't really blame them for not wanting to trust any other books right now.. that may play a huge part in it.

Its just a shame that a nefarious force such that has become of SBR can with no conscience hoodwink the innocent followers of their website into joining up with some sports book with which SBR has a back channeled relationships to "top management" such that SBR player groups (syndicate style players likely with which SBR itself has win sheets) were set up with what in most cases turned out to be false deposits and/or plain, outright obviously unsupported entries that created the illusion of hundreds of thousands of dollars in players balances from which these players "bet" creating the further illusion to an absentee wealthy owner that the business was good (always being promised that one day it will be profitable) and that the lovely SBR pretends to be a watchdog to this unregulated industry sucking in innocent regular players.

So who lost?

The regular Jo, trusting and perhaps a bit naive but still... good guy player lost.

The former owner lost BIG.

The folks at EZStreet are painted as villains when its clear no one else in the industry was willing to touch any of this with a 10 foot pole.

Reasonably honorable forums lost as people lose faith in the only available watchdog format available in this unregulated area.

And the industry as a whole lost.

This was the camel that broke the camels back for me. I cried uncle and said I had simply had enough of this crap.

Anyways - If I did not have family to take care of, I would go on a personal mission to find out and expose the entire truth in this regard and do everything in my power to ensure SportsBookReview is exposed once and for all.

Here's a link to a pretty good article regarding the SBR model - enjoy - Pete

Thank you so much for those words.

When I join up with a family, my intention is to be a true blue, positive help... the biz just has me down right now and I appreciate that I have been allowed some breathing room after a tough football season. Like I mentioned before, we have a good crew that cares and always goes the extra mile every single time in order to do the right thing. I am sorry for all the ranting, but this is an emotional subject for me and I have to stay true to my heart and expressed it so.

I also wanted to take this time to thank Hacheman for all his help and incredible assistance I really appreciate you man!

Murph I have to say you have been a constant breath of fresh air and I really appreciate your comments and insight.

And the rest of the mods have been nothing but great as well.

I’ll be checking in soon…
