dont think he saw this yet...

who saw what?

he caused the problems with his int's

Bad coverage schemes and even worse tackling are the Falcons problems, Ryan is the least of their worries!!

he didn't take very good care of the ball

choke when he led final drive to gw field goal?

lol right

if the Seahawks don't call the timeout before the kick there is no gw field goal

he won the game... lol cant really call that a choke since he didnt cover lmao

nothing to do with the cover

so that directly makes matt ryan unclutch

are u fucking joking me with your logic?

he did his job. he put his team in a position to win with less than 30 sec left. u want him to kick the fucking fg too?

Matt Ryan was 0-3 in his playoff career and was looking to avoid becoming the first quarterback since the merger to lose his first four postseason starts.
Ryan had never thrown for 200 yards in a playoff game, and his 28.3 Total QBR in the postseason is second-worst among quarterbacks with at least two playoff starts since 2008 (Andy Dalton, 16.6 Total QBR).

Today he came out on top but still threw 2 int's and was out yardaged 250 - 385 by Wilson, sorry but I am still not a Ryan believer

so basically you're changing the topic now

game winning drive

call him a choker anyways because he lost his first 3 playoff games

got it.

it's matt ryan's fault his defense choked in the 4th q
and while we're speaking about passing stats, let's forget about going 6/11 on 3rd down conversions

I'm not changing the topic I believe Matt Ryan makes too many mistakes in crunch time, I started this thread before the game was over and if they missed the field goal......would you still call him Matty Ice?

No because he would be 0-4 in playoff games and there wouldn't have been a game winning drive..........Ryan was outplayed by the rookie today, so you can keep defending Ryan all you want it will not change my opinion of him.

Couldnt disagree more. Rodgers and turner combined for 162 yds rushing. While lynch only had 46 yds. They loaded the box with 8 and 9, forcing Wilson to beat them. Wilson also got sacked before the half and came away with 0 points instead of 7 or at least 3. You play to win the game, hello.

I guess we can agree to disagree, give me Wilson over Ryan anyday of the week. Bad play calling and time management from the coaching staff before the half. Could you imagine the damage Wilson would do with White, Jones and Gonzales

you're saying he's unclutch because if he hypothetically lost this game, he would be 0-4.

lol what

outplayed?
who was the better qb for the first 3 quarters?

or do u only judge qbs by 4th quarters?

Wilson was playing catch up man. His numbers would have to be better.

Speaking of QBR, he had a better number than Brady today by a decent margin. I guess we can include Brady's game today as poor and he could have been a choke artist. Since it doesn't matter if you win or lose the game.

Also Seahawks have Rice, Tate, Baldwin and Miller. Maybe not the star power of Julio, Roddy and Tony G but when you add in Lynch and Turbin you get a pretty Dang good assembly of talent. I know Calvin Johnson would love to have any of those guys as team mates. Not taking anything away from Wilson as he may become great but as of now Ryan is the better QB as seen by only Brady and Pats have more win than his 56 in last 5 years.

He is not the first QB to go winless in his first 3 playoff games and I would predict none of the others lost to the NFC representative in the Super Bowl in each of those years...not to mention the Super Bowl champions the last two years.

The funny thing is if Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, Tom Brady did the same thing as Matt Ryan did today all the national media would be slobbering all over them telling us how much great, superior QB's they are compared to everyone, but since it was the Falcons and Matt Ryan some focus on a timeout when a FG kicker was practicing a kick after the whistle blew and players stopped playing (nobody knows what is going in his head after that distraction or maybe he was just kicking it straight for practice to adjust on the real kick coming up) or they focus on other mistakes whereas if it was Brady, Rodgers, or Favre the media would be telling us how great they are again.........

Which QB beat two of those teams Ryan has previously lost to?

his play in the 2nd half before that last second drive wasn't exactly clutch, I think he / they played scared

they began to play not to lose, and it almost cost them

Exactly..very intelligent post. The Falcons were playing "not to blow it" after going up by 20..that was an enormous monkey on their back going into yesterday and now it's off. Now, they'll play "wide open" with nothing to lose as a home dog that no one wants.

Dangerous...

That's smiths style of coaching. Everyone knew it was coming. Who wouldn't have good stats of they played against a prevent for a whole half.
