I ve always liked Charles Davis, He didnt make the Cowboys coming out of Tenn, earned his masters and turned to broadcasting. He s done NFL, College, and Arena work for many years, thought he d be more a focal point on broadcasts but I guess its competitive and maybe he s not viewed as good as I think he is with his knowledge and entertainment value.

Are you guys for real? Aikman and Gruden are horrible.

I like Blackledge and Herbstreit in college football by far over any other commentator in any other sport.

Faldo is okay on CBS doing the PGA.

Steve Kerr good doing NBA on TNT.

Bardo is good for entertainment value doing college hoops on the deuce for those St. Mary's/Gonzaga type games...

Reggie Miller and Barkley

Barkley is the definition of an Idiot. When they had him do the ncaa tourney last year it was dumb comment after dumb comment.

Miller is good. So is Steve Kerr as someone else on here said.

As a Yankee fan, I really enjoyed Jim Kaat's work when he did color for the Yanks on the YES network, and now MLB network.

Barkley is an amazing studio guy. Would never want to watch him do in-game stuff (and I havent).

Jim Spanarkle, played ball against him in high school. He was a great pitcher in baseball, 95 mph fast ball and great hoops player. Imagine playing hoops against a team with Jim Spanarkle and Mike O'koren on the same team. Bet many didn't know Jim Spanarkle was a great pitcher. He pitched a one hitter and won 1-0 in county championship vs North Bergen back in the early 70's.

Donny Marshal :) (I think only people from NE will know what he's doing)

I like Barkley, he can be refreshingly brutal

I also enjoy Bobby Knight's insight, although he had a bad senior moment a few nights ago

PS: Gruden is nothing more than a cheerleader for everybody IMHO (OK, maybe not so humble)
