For me it is easy. I saw the 1993 West Regional where the Fab Five beat the Temple Owls.

They first beat GW and Yinka Dare and then beat Temple with Easy Eddie Jones and Aaron McKie.

Saw Maravich a few times when i was really young. Lsu didnt even have a basketball arena, they played in the building where they held rodeos. Maravich was a freshman and then there would be a freshman game then a varsity afterwards. We would go watch the Pete and the building would be packed...as soon as the freshman finished the building would empty..lol

But the best game ever had to be this one. Shaq and Chris Jackson vs Hank Geathers and Bo Kimble...

Hard to say... Over the years I have seen a Ton of Big East games... a lot of good teams with a Bunch of Good or Great players in the mix
So I'll go with Uconn, Georgetown and Cuse.
Also saw Duke play a few times

1991 UNLV team.

Larry Johnson, stacey augmon, Greg Anthony, Anderson Hunt, George Ackles, Evric Gray, Elmore Spencer and of course current UNLV head coach Dave Rice.

Came back for their senior year after winning title by 30 over duke in previous season, only to lose at buzzer as once Greg Anthony fouled out, they were lost. Loved watching that team.... watching the old midnight games on Big Monday before ESPN became a reality show.

1998-99 Duke team that lost to Uconn in final game was great too as they were blowing everyone out.

Just because a team doesn't win the tournament does not mean they were not the best. Look at Butler, they have the best coach in the country and because of that, can play with anyone

I didn't see that in person but I watched them on TV all year and they were dominating. Think they beat #1 Arkansas with Day and Mayberry in Arkansas pretty bad.

Yep but actually arkansas was #2 on Feb. 10th 1991 when that game was played. Arkansas also had fatass Oliver Miller. They also beat Michigan state with Steve smith that year.

I think their average margin of victory was 25 or so points, of course alot of that was big west competition. i was at the final four that year when Duke beat them in Indianapolis.

Watch it. Chris was a Family Friend. He was my best Bud for 5 years.... Which if you do a search around here, I've talked about him before.

But Yes... and a Good drinker.
I am the one that got him in trouble numerous times with Lou.

We hung out at gallaghers and the Sly Fox

Best one I ever saw in person was the 1972-73 Providence College team that went to final 4 losing to Memphis. Team was coached by Dave Gavitt and featured All-Americans Ernie DeGregorio and Marvin"Bad News" Barnes. If Barnes does not go down with a knee injury against Memphis in semis, they may have won the whole thing that year....Saw them play about 5 times that year in person.
