Do you enjoy the snow?

It's our first snow of the year....

Like everyone, I use to love snow days as a kid. But even in college they were some of my favorite days. I would throw "snow in parties" stock up on liqour, beer, and food and invite a bunch of people over. Could be one day, one time we were all trapped for 3 days. Never failed hooking up with a girl either like that... But was always a blast.

Now its more inconvenience than anything, but trying to enjoy this 1st snow of the year.
It's amazing. The snow flakes are so big, it seriously looks like giant cotton balls falling. It's definitely very different snow than normal.

One year when winter storms set in I lived off a dozen doughnuts and a gallon of milk for like a week. Another time when the power went off for 10 days I ate soup warmed over a kerosene heater and even made a grilled chesse sandwhich over the heater. Maybe not "roughin it" conditions for some but spartan enough for me for the limited time I had to endure it. Actually snow is great for gardens and fields where the snow puts much needed nitrogen in the soil for spring planting, but it can be a royal pain in the rump while it is here. People in the South go crazy with the bread and milk routine which I never really buy into because bread and milk is bread and milk whether 10 inches of snow has fallen or it is 102 degrees on the Fourth Of July. Just mentioned the word snow to a person in the South and the words bread and milk will be mentioned before the converastion is over.

We hardly ever get snow. I hate cold weather, but if its gonna be cold id rather have snow too

like it now that i'm down south. its a nice little treat, and i know that its temporary.

HATED it back in new england, as at it was the beginning of a nightmare.

i just moved to florida from pittsburgh and i actually miss the snow. don't ask me why, because when i'm up there i fucking hate it. it's the little things, i guess.

Living in NY my whole life. I can't say that I HATE snow. It's nice to wake up on Xmas morning or New years day and have the ground covered in snow. But I can say that I VERY VERY VERY VERY much dislike snow for every other aspect besides 2-4 days out of the year.

i love it, especially with all wheel drive. When i was a kid it was like money falling from the sky. 1996 we got about 2 1/2 feet.
