Hello all

First year posting at rx for baseball but I'm hoping to be around to post for the whole season.

My goal here is to be able to post every play in here whether its my own or from following a buddy's pick so I can have every play tracked and to be transparent. I won't be saying which picks are my own, but if inquired I will respond. My purpose is not to claim other ppl's picks rather to come out in the black as far as possible and if that involves playing plays from a buddy then that is the case. Regardless of this I am working on tracking better and making money!

I will probably often post fantasy baseball and other random baseball discussions in this thread. Hoping it to be a place for all sorts of discussions.

Looking forward to getting more into baseball season.
Good luck to all!

Thanks Buddah, see you've been around for a while.... how is the baseball section during the season?
pops69 season long thread is the place to be; no picks as such but best stats around and lots of good posts. Start sometime in late March.

Fantasy baseball decisions:

Our budget is $265

I have to pick 2 btw all of these to keep:

McCutheon - $31
Mark Trumbo - $5
Will Middlebrooks - $5
Victor Martinez - $5
Brandon Beachy - $5
Gio Gonzalez - $14

Probably will lean towards 2 of the $5 guys to not tie up too much cap space... any thoughts?

Don't know your leagues scoring setup, but in general...I would keep Gio..top 10 pitcher on an NL team with good pen and offense contending for division and only $14...no brainer. Love McCutch, a first rounder but paying top price and don't like his supporting cast..Martinez solid all around numbers although sure HR will drop but other numbers shouldn't but he has to be eligible at catcher..Trumbo nice and should see a lot of ab"s at DH on a team with potent off but seems like power is all he's worth so not too excited..Middlebrooks may breakout if his wrist let's him so a gamble..beachy out til all star break so forget him...To sum up...Gio and Martinez (esp if C elig).
