Now that football season is coming to an end, I want to cash out my profits. I've read my stories online how WU questions you when you go to pick up your cash, and sometimes they don't give it to you. Anyone had this experience? what questions did they ask you, what did you respond with?

Never had the problem with WU or MG.
All you need is Your ID and transaction ID (for me, MG is much easier than WU)

for WU - You will need to fill out some information that your book provided to you & your ID.
for MG - Just transaction ID and your ID

Congrats for cashing out ......

Murphy and Dante, when you guys went to Wal-Mart, did you get thumbprinted? Other than that, I didn't have any issues (questions, etc), but I wasn't very comfortable with that. Oh, and the payouts were only $750 each.

I once had my Social taken at a WU place and they took a picture. I always wondered why. I asked the lady if they report this to the gov and she said no but then why did she want my social and picture.

Tactical, I have used WU payout several times in the past for large amounts (2500)...I request the cashout before noon on say Monday, the money is always ready to be picked up by Tuesday afternoon. Very easy and simple. You will fill out a sheet with the location, who sent it, the transaction number (all provided on your 5dimes home screen once ready by 5dimes) and then you will hand it to the WU worker. I believe if its over 1000 they will ask you for your social. I always have to give social, show ID, teller punches in the info and boom! payout. Never been asked a question, ever. They work at WU, they don't monitor it, own it, etc, it isn't there place to ask questions, and if they do I wouldn't think it would be for professional reasons, maybe a curious worker wondering why Nicaragua, Costa Rica, etc is sending you cash. Good luck man, WU has always been abnormally simple and fast for me.

never a fingerprint.

you had some weirdo worker I guess trying to move up in the ranks.... most of the workers are half asleep usually as Walmart hires pretty much anyone to fill those positions. lol

The workers generally dont care. They are more curious about how they could go about getting money sent to them from foreign lands because their job pays shit. I actually introduced a teller/clerk to online sport betting when i went on hot streak and was visiting what seemed like every week.
