it just looks to be wide open with number 1 falling all the time.duke just got lambasted this week after being put in the number 1 spot this week again.louisville has fallen when there and then they lose to villanova yet,a really bad team.well even though louy got beat im still looking at them as one of my picks and i also like the way florida is playing so id like to get down on them if i can get a good price, but i believe this year is the year to take some shots with nice prices or longshots as we call them

so who does everybody like? lets hear it after all its going into february already

IU vs. Butler for the national Championship.

Hoping for an IU, Butler, Gonzaga, Creighton final 4. IU vs. Gonzaga and Butler vs. Creighton.

These teams play basketball the way it was supposed to be played

I am willing to substitute Duke for Creighton or Gonzaga

"THIS IS IU!"

For me personally its very very wide open.. Should make the tournament one of the most interesting ones of recent.. Maybe even a #1 will fall to a 16 for first time ever puff_>>

No surprise that all these teams have something in common:

Defintely wide open. It will all come down to the tournament match-ups.

Call it what you want, but basketball was better then than it is now and not to change the subject but if Larry Bird was coming into then NBA now, he would not last or even remotely be the player he was because the NBA is lets just say "different" now. It is all about fast break althleticism now. People actually think Blake Griffin is good.

Interesting that those teams above (my final 4 teams) are filled with 3 star recruits (except Zeller) and can compete with any team in the country yet Kentucky and North Carolina will barely make the tourney.

a list like this is interesting and very realistic, there are a bunch of teams that can win it this year and just look at some of the teams that will be fighting to even get in the tournament this year, north carolina, kentucky, etc

It's true. Game was more fundamental then so he benefitted from that. Now it is just who is the longest and most athletic. That is why adam Morrison, JJ redick, Gordan hayward and others are basically out of the league or at best mild contributors.

and teams draft guys like Tyrus Thomas and Stromile Swift in the top 5. And the before mentioned Blake Griffin. NBA is jusgt all length and ridiculous amounts of athleticim. When Bird played, there were more focus on fundamentals and actual post moves.

Tim Duncan is the only big man that comes to mind in the last few years that actually has legit post moves. When watching an NBA game, you do not hear commentators saying much "what a great reverse pivot that was" or "nice up and under"...It is just "look how high he got"
