[h=1]Formers 49ers OT gets into fight with ex-boyfriend over soy sauce, underwear: report[/h]
Kwame Harris, a former offensive tackle for the 49ers and Raiders, is in some hot water over soy sauce. Harris is accused of assaulting his ex-boyfriend in an incident that occurred in the fall after an argument over -- of all things -- soy sauce, according to the Daily Journal. Harris was driving the man, Dimitri Geier, to the airport as they continued to argue about the amount of soy sauce that Geier poured on a plate of rice at an earlier dinner. Harris then told Geier he wouldn't be able to take him to the airport, so Geier left the car and attempted to hail a cab. According to the lawsuit, Harris tried to pull down his pants and accused him of stealing some of his underwear, before throwing Geier's property from his car.
The suit says Geier hit Harris a few times before Harris shook and punched him. Geier then took a cab to the hospital were he had surgery to repair broken orbital bones.
Harris was arrested but released on $75,000 bail, but faces up to seven years in prison since Geier was injured. He claims he acted in self-defense and was "in fear of his life and physical well-being."
