I think Football and baseball should make an exception on steroids and HGH for hurt players.

Its apparent that a lot of hurt players have used steroids to help then heal from an injury.
Andy Pettitte, Ray Lewis perhaps, and im sure many others if the truth would ever be known.

I personally do not see anything wrong with an athlete taking a PED if it will help with the recovery process from an injury.

Why force a player to miss 1.5 years for an ACL injury when they could cut that in half with a PED?

It makes no sense.

No need to punish a player for doing everything in his power to get back onto the court or field.

Im sure there is a very easy way this could be implemented to ensure that it would not be abused.

If we have the medicine(steroids) to help a player get on the field faster we are just being incredibly shortsighted not to take advantage of it.

And if you did make this exception you would also be able to easily tell if a player tested positive due to taking them for an injury vs using that as an excuse for taking them for performance enhancement.

Its a win/win.
