I love to bet. It's just in my blood. I have just been discouraged the past 2 weeks. Not 1 day I have gained money in those 2 weeks. It seems like nothing is working for me no matter what I do. Following others doesn't seem to help as I feel llike I'm a jinx. I'm trying to read the write ups on the service play forum but there is so much information going on that it is hard to keep up... I don't know who to rely on. How do you guys bounce back from slumps like this? any advice??

I have been exactly where you are. My only advice is to bet exactly what you know. Dont follow cappers blind on the service forum. Pick a local team that you can follow hard and learn everything about them and then make the most educated bet possible when they play. Once you get a couple wins under your belt the next couple wins will come easier.

My best advice I can give is 1. Stay away from services.. those guys are naturally born losers (literally). 2. Lower your unit size.. if your used to betting 1-200 a game.. go down to 50$.. and once you get out of your slump raise your units gradually. Keep in mind ALL streaks go hot and cold.. so the good news is you might be on the end of a cold streak and headed into a hot one :toast:

When I hit a slump (everyone does) just lower your wagers and bet 1-2 games... or BET what you know yourself. Dont reach out and bet trying to chase. Its okay to take a day or two off and go back and watch films and restudy stats. Its a full time job if you are handicapping, just keep at it, and slowly build it back up.

Some good thoughts given....especially taking days or even weeks off when in a slump.

Gaming ain't going away....your cash can go away fast.

It's not how you drive...it's how you arrive. GL
