Kansas State coach Bill Snyder has signed a new five-year deal that includes an increase in compensation to $14.75 million over the life of the contract. Snyder's new deal, which includes an automatic rollover provision, increases his salary to $2.75 million for the 2013 season with annual increases of $100,000.

The 73 year-old coach led the Wildcats to an 11-2 record, their second Big 12 championship and a berth in the Fiesta Bowl this past season, and was voted AP's Big 12 coach of the year. It was Snyder's seventh 11 win seasons in 21 years in Manhattan. His career record is 170-85-1.

Talk about a bargain by today's coaches salaries....especially when you compare him to that fat loser SOB across state.

Good for you Coach Snyder...........................:103631605

I always wanted to see what Snyder would do with top-level talent......How many National Titles would he have? Guess we'll never know.

The guy won with Colin Klein at quarterback...and made him a Heisman contender. Klein is like a typical 1 star rated quarterback where in high school their goal is "just do not make a mistake that costs us a game".

bill is a legend here in kansas

Somebody got me a Kansas State hat directly from Manhattan, Kansas as they were driving through over the holidays recently. Pretty unique Christmas present I must say. They remembered when I had Kansas State Moneyline against Oklahoma in the 2003 Big 12 Title Game and when I used to play them ATS when I first started betting more serious in late 90's.
