What has been happening is that it flattens out at a certain number. Then it goes up. When it comes back down it flattens out at a number 10 cents than when it was flat before. And it keeps happening.

And they sit around and wonder why the economy isn't rebounding. Uhhh because too large of a percentage of people's income is going into the gas tank leaving less money for anything else.

And here we have a brainless idiot.

Obama has been in office for how many years, but these brainless lemmings still spouting the "It's Bush's fault" mantra.

Comedy Gold.

I agree, but I agree that all the fucking presidents before Barack, all the Bushes and Clintons are responsible too. There is an obvious HUGE economic interest to mantain this necessity for oil and gas for equally HUGE companies that are lobbyist and supporters of both parties, and other equally powerful and influential companies and industries, such as the military industrial complex. Dont you think we can produce the technology for things to be cheaper and more ecologic? Is this need for fossil fuels just a sham? Dont you think that with the technology we have we could create cars to be capable of driving for hundreds of miles without running off of energy? Or the batteries capable of being shock charged in 5-10minutes, lithium made? 80% of politicians dont care about you, and they are corrupt as the devil you believe in. The remainder 15% would probably go corrupt
if given enough power and money, and the last 5% has no chance of being elected at all, because of sabotage from the media who is controlled by the same system that is consuming us all, fighting with each other, party against party, ideology vs ideology, but yet when you see them become president, you see that the agenda rarely changes on the really important subjects.

I live in NJ which traditonally has had very low gas prices. For years the prices in NJ were much less than Las Vegas. NJ state gas taxes are low. Now Las Vegas has some of the cheapest gas. One station there is pricing Regular below $3 dollars. NJ where I live is about $3.50 a gallon for Regular. There must be a glut of gas where Nevada is getting it's supply.

Not factual.

According to the Bureau of Land Management, the current administration has actually decreased approval of drilling permits by 36 percent. Under Bill Clinton, his administration increased the approval of drilling permits by 58 percent, and George W. Bush increased approval by 116 percent.

Been waiting for your apology on claiming i was lying and a link was posted to show i wasnt. Why dont you ever be a man and admit your mistakes? I understand you might have trouble keeping up with each one because your bullshit gets destroyed on a daily basis....but once in a while you should step up and be a man.

However US oil and gas productions are at all time highs

When we have a President that’s hell bent on green energy you can understand why gas pieces are high.

Drilling permits declining, no Keystone XL pipeline, hell, just read what former Energy Secretary Steven Chu said, “Somehow,” we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”

And don’t forget the U.S. Export-Import Bank promised Petrobras, Brazil's state-owned oil company, $2 billion in loan guarantees to help finance lucrative drilling off the shores of Rio De Janeiro. Why? So we can be their # 1 customer?

So while BO wastes billions on green energy and loans to Brazil, the price of gas remains high.

Has the price of oil jumped that high in one week? Last week I paid 3.659 for Arco regular. Yesterday it was 3.979 at Arco, and over $4 at other stations. There's no oil shortage, so what's the problem?
