power hungry judge, makes me sick. no wonder the jails in the u.s. are full when people get their bail doubled just for saying "adios" and then get 30 days for giving someone the finger when they're obviously drunk or on drugs.

so she took some xanax, big deal.

Agreed. As long as she uses an open hand, she should be able to hit him too. I mean she's 18 and committed a crime while he is only a judge

Yes, she committed a crime. Take your punishment and shut up. Did she think for one second being a smart asks would be to her benefit? At 18, after committing a crime, would you have no fear of your fate in a court room.

disrespected? just cuz she said adios? that judge looks like he has quite the mexican accent himself.

he had her CALLED BACK IN TO THE COURTROOM to double her bail after he thought about that. just let it go, be a man and uphold the law, not a rogue jackass judge. yes giving him the finger is uncalled for, but 30 days in jail? same punishment if you beat up a woman and her 2 year old daughter, you telling me those are similar offenses?

Hell no, those should be much worse. The disrespect is showing up in court, showing contempt and lack of remorse for anything she had done wrong. And what does his accent have to do with anything?

He should have just called her back and lectured her but to add to her sentence is out of control.

his accent has to do with the fact that he got upset at her saying "adios". not sure what rubbed him the wrong way, whether it was the spanish language or the flippant way she said goodbye.

i agree she should've handled herself better, but the punishment was way worse than the crime imho.

where do we draw the line? if she got 30 YEARS in prison, do we just say "yeah she deserved it for giving him the finger and saying adios".

Apparently it was within the guidelines of the law. I'm also guessing, neither of us know all the details of her arrest or her history. I'm sure the paper work in his hands had all of that information. Again, maybe she'll think twice now.

from the video it appeared like the judge was jealous of her finances, not sure what the value of her jewelry has to do with whether or not she was taking xanax
