IMO nothing more overrated in sports than fighters from the UK and that goes for boxing and MMA. They beat up on average Joe's in the UK and build up nice records even though they aren't really talented. That is the case with today's fights but since I feel I can make some money on these I will try to exploit it.

First up is Martin Lindsay/Lee Selby. Lee Selby comes in to this one with 5 KOs in his last 6 fights. He is fighting a guy that's never been knocked out. Lindsay has also gone the distance in 6 of his last 7. I really believe Selby's streak of KOs ends today. Not only can Lindsay take a punch, but Selby knows that Lindsay doesn't mind going 12 rounds. I think this causes Selby to pace himself and also to not take any chances. I think this really works to Lindsay's advantage. I think in addition to taking the over, Lindsay is also worth a small play. Only thing I'm a little worried about is that at a price of -145 I felt the round total should have been 10.5. Line looks a little fishy but I like this play a lot.
Over 9.5 rounds 435/300
Martin Lindsay to win 100/240

The other fight I see some value in is Carl Frampton/Kiko Martinez. Frampton is dangerous against good fighters. Today he is fighting a bad fighter. I don't know how Kiko was picked for this one. My only guess is Frampton needs a confidence boost before he takes a real fight. Kiko has no chance at winning a decision in this one. Everyone can see that so I think we see Kiko come out swinging. He knows he will need a knockout and will leave Frampton a lot of opportunities to end this one early.

Under 11.5 rounds 100/105
