Coaches from around the Southeastern Conference will have to wait and see if this year's crop of early enrollees can have an impact on the coming season. All these coaches are aware of the impact WR Amari Cooper and RB TJ Yeldon had at Alabama last season as early enrollees. Both players played important roles in Alabama winning the National Championship. This year, few teams have ever brought in a bigger early enrollee class than Georgia with thirteen players. This year, SEC teams have brought in 77 early enrollees.

Georgia (13)
Alabama (9)
Florida (8)
Texas A&M (8)
LSU (6)
Tennessee (5)
Arkansas (5)
Ole Miss (4)
Mississippi St. (4
Auburn (3)
South Carolina (3)
Kentucky (3)
Missouri (2)
Vanderbilt (2)

It will be interesting to see how many schools get positive results from early enrollees during the 2013 season.

Talk about bad timing. Todd Grantham, Georgia's defensive coordinator interviewed with the New Orleans Saints for the same position one day after national signing day. The Bulldogs had just picked up 32 players with 13 of them already enrolled and their defensive coordinator is out looking for another job. You got to know Grantham told recruits he loved the school and would be there to coach them.

Well, Grantham was not offered the Saints job and now he's doing a lot of backpeddling. I haven't talked to any of my Bulldog friends yet but I'm guessing they are pissed at Grantham. Sorryass move on his part.

Grantham did it correcly. He waited until AFTER signing day. Had he did it BEFORE sigining day, then people would have a right to be upset. He really has his work cut out for him, only getting 3 returning starters from a team that allowed over 30 points 4 times last season.

Grantham has upset a lot of Georgia people who thought he was loyal to the program. He
is one of the higher paid defensive coordinators in the SEC, only behind Alabama and LSU's
DCs.

I've always thought the guy was overrated....just my take. I'll bet you many Georgia folks
agree, especially now.
