I have a very large family and up until 6 months ago no one EVER had cancer in my family. We get parkinsons and lupus and some other diseases such as diabetes (which I have) high blood pressure and cholesterol. Other than that cancer has never even been an after thought among us. My aunt had very bad tooth pain about 6 months ago and a long story short, she now has full blown, stage 4 mouth, jaw, and throat cancer. It is so bad that it has been deemed incurable. She elected to go into hospice and live the rest of her now short life, as pain free as possible with medication and low doses of chemo. She has a feeding tube now and a trach in her throat and will not be with us very much longer. We have accepted this as a family and she also is aware of her fate.... Are we close to a cure for this horrible disease or will it be something that will forever baffle our doctors and scientists?
the causes of cancer are many, so the 'cures' may also be specific to certain types, we live longer in average than before so I suppose its also more common to see more of these types of things now than before.
I would be more positive on this if tobacco would disappear from the face of the earth....still there are plenty of known carcinogens around us

Cancer is genetic imo.... For the most part! A cure for several types is possible imo! Cancer cells grow through mitosis at a much quicker rate than other cells! The immune system produces T & B cells along with natural killer cells which are not programed in the immune sysytem during the 1st few months of birth, theses cells will and can attack any antigen in the body... Im sure there is some way to increase these in the body..
I always asked myself why heart cancer is never among us! To my reason behind this, the oxygen levels in the blood are the highest in the heart.. Cancer cells do not do well in high oxygen levels! It seems possible to increse oxygen levels in red blood cells which would increase T cells..
To help prevent cancer i seem to think higher ph balance of the body is possible through higher alkalines in the body! But as many people say, there is way too much money involved in this.. Maybe better understanding of the amino acids and the DNA replication in the mitosis of cell division will help link the proteins causing the cancer cells..

it's about money....said to say..(we had front line access to all med's & treatments)...I'll leave it at that

we had some inside help...for my Dad...

my hypothesis from studying anthropology is that what we eat and expose our bodies to has changed so dramatically over the past couple hundred years that our bodies which evolved over millions of years have difficulty handling all the shit we put in them...it takes the human body many many generations to adapt to things through natural selection and natural selection requires pressures which we dont have in many ways...

agree totally, there are diets known as 'paleo diets' which are supposed to be what we all ate not long ago (10k years or more ago....really a blip in geological time)
as far as the conspiracy theories....the implication is that ALLLLLL doctors all over the world that work in cancer research are into this , I always disagree with this type of 'world conspiracy theories.
not long ago they came up a vaccine for cervical cancer....I am sure there will be a lot more money to be made offering this to 3.5 billion people than allowing a very small % of people to get sick and make money out of them
Yes because everyone involved in government and big pharma or both are more interested in your health than in their trustfund... You keep saying no, never, how could they? I hope you are right, but I do think its naive to trust the corporations blindly, and I remind you, big pharma and most governments are esentially corporations.
