Would you care if the Super Bowl halftime show was canceled next year ?

Not sure how many half Time shows I really watched....

They should probably have whoever perform Live at MSG or somewhere around Met Life and put it up on the Score board, TV's etc....

I've seen outdoor concerts in cold weather numerous times , as long as there's no lightning (dont want any Steve Miller incidents) the show should go on without being moved or cancelled. Just my oppinion.

Lightning strike knocked the guitar out of his hands (and fried an amplifyer) he tried to go on a couple of more songs but they had to cancel the rest of the show.

To be fair he was playing Abracadabra at the time and God just could take anymore of that abomination of a song and longer.

I was at a buddies house this year during the super bowl and as soon as halftime got there it was like a shift change in front of the TV. The 12 or so guys got up from watching and the 10 or so girls quickly moved in to watch Beyonce. I doubt they will ever do away with the show because of this.

I think it was wild mountain honey , but not really sure. This was like early 90's and my brain cells arent what they used to be.

I remeber Boz Skaggs playing first but only played 3 or 4 songs then a long rain delay , after a couple of hours steve miller band started and then the storms started again.

I am the only yes.

I think its nice to have a break for an hour in between halves.. and that is best time to have food or whatever too.

Could care less about the show itself.. but T&A always is nice.

When I go to a concert, there's no football game played between bands.

I hate the halftime thing. This year was one of the worse shows but regardless, I would rather listen to the halftime show guys discuss the game up to that point.

I never really watch any of these halftime show , so i could care less could just play commercials the whole time

I am a lone wolf I suppose 1/13 so far :smoking:

I just enjoy the break away from the tv and think its a good time to do the food thing if you have that going on (meal cooked).. I realize finger foods you can eat all game long.

I voted yes but wish they would do away with the lip synching music concert aspect. Prefer to see some evil knievel daredevil or football related stuff. Maybe even a crazy fireworks show.

One of my first concerts ever. He played at Longacres horse track around Seattle with Chuch Berry and Johnny Rivers. We drove down in my Datsun 510 from Vancouver.
