Sure, New England quarterback Tom Brady may not be competing along with his teammates in Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 after losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, but you probably shouldn’t bother shedding a tear for the guy. Remember, first of all, he’s married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen, which, when you think about it, ain’t a bad gig if you can get it for beginners. He also has three kids and is living an overall pretty sweet life. Make that a phenomenally sweet life, and that was before construction on the Brady family’s new compound in Los Angeles reached completion.
Taking three years to build and with overall construction costs reportedly in the realm of a $20 million, the 22,000 square-foot home features all the amenities a mega-rich superstar could ever desire…and then some.
Yeah, it’s got a moat.
Even though everything after a moat is pretty much gravy, the luxurious grounds also include a resort-like pool, a custom play area for the couple’s three kids, among other extravagant features I dare not imagine and likely could never comprehend.
Yeah, it’s good to be Tom Brady. His house has a moat. Not sure why a moat is necessary, but it is a grand indulgence and pretty awesome.
