I swear once I heard this video I listened to all of hers.. she has a lot of solid ones

There's a lot of this on YouTube. Check out Virtual Zeppelin, where each person from different parts of the world record their part of the song and one guy puts them together. In fact, the singer sounded so much like Robert Plant, Jason Bonham recruited him to front The Led Zeppelin Experience. The guitarist is a Japanese guy from Tokyo who nails Page's sound.

but the reason I made the thread isn't just this girl..I want to know what this style of music is where people take a song and remix it or DJ it so to speak.. so I can look up more of them.

she's using a process called 'looping'. basically playing some short riff on a guitar or making a sound and recording it and then "looping" it using a pedal, computer, hardware/software that plays it over and over and recording another piece over the top it, looping it, and on and on. KT Tunstall is someone that comes to mind for using looping techniques. I know a local solo musician who employs a lot of this technique at his shows. A lot of people think it is really cool, neat, and takes a lot of talent but i personally feel that it is an 'easy' way out to achieve something you can't achieve on your own. a real musician doesn't need the extra technology and help, but to each their own. there is obviously some skill involved for more accomplished folks who employ it. my thoughts are geared more toward guitar players who use the technique.
