For me it's laying it all in a hand of blackjack and winning. A huge parlay is close second but they happen so rarely.

Was up about 400 in roulette. Left the tables up 325 total. After walking around for a while, I just throw 15$ on red. NExt thing you know, Im down to my last 150 and i have 100 of it riding on red. Bad boy hit for me and i ended up building back to being up 325. The spin of the wheel gets my heart racing. I was feening blackjack but i just dont have the $$ to play 25 a hand

Having a hand like 33 late in a tourney. Calling a raise bigger then you should call. Flopping a fh or quads. Then the player in front of you goes all in.

Craziest play I have ever made.

A few years ago I was playing in a big card game in Huntsville. 5-10 game.

I was in college and all the money to my name was the 850 sum odd dollars of chips I had sitting in front of me.

Guy to my immediate right raises to 75 and I call.

We are heads up and I have position on him.

I have KJ of clubs.

Flop comes and it is Queen (hearts), 10 (spades), 4 (clubs).

He bets 150 and I insta call.

Turn card is a 2 (spades).

He checks and I check.

River is another 10 (hearts).

He puts me all in and I sit there for literally 5 minutes talking to him. He is a great player and gives me zero information as he just goes into a shell as he always does. Very savvy player and I knew he had the balls to make a bluff.

Guy at the end of the table he is plastered and gets pissed and calls "clock" on me.

I look at the guy who shoved and say, "I think you have Jack, Nine."

"Why do I think you have Jack, Nine!!!"

"Call!"

The guy throws his cards in the middle and says, "Good hand...Fuck!".

I demand that he flips his cards over (which is fucking insane), if he has Ace high I lose. He looks at me and says, you know what I have. I say, "I called I want to see." He says, "You called my fucking hand!", and flips over Jack, Nine.

I flip over my cards and show King high...the room goes ballistic. People from all the other tables start to hear about the hand and start running over to our table.

The guy looks at me and says, "Did you see my fucking cards, because that is the only way you could have made that call!" He walks out of the card room and goes for a little stroll...

My buddy from 4 tables over sees me after the game and was like, "who the fuck made that call over there at your table, that shit was crazy." I just start smiling and he says, "no the fuck you didn't!"

This is a great story but you were nuts asking him to show you his hand. Could you imagine how sick you would have been if he had A high?

Yea looking back I am aware it was not smart but at the same time the validation was almost as important to me as my "life's savings"...

Absolutely. That 2 or 3 mins between the end of the race and the race being declared official when you know you have a potential signer is as good as it gets for me.
