Not a bad card tonite, but some bad prices. I think Broner is a superstar who can back up all the shit he talks. Can't wait to watch him. I really like Bika and Escobedo as well. I think it will be a very entertaining night. Unfortunately the juice that needs to be laid is pretty ugly so I only have 2 value plays tonite. First Broner will destroy Rees. I have 0 respect for UK fighters. The only one I have ever been impressed with is Lennox. I think Rees is just another product of their Bullshit system the UK pulls. They never fight outside the country and they only fight scrubs. I do think he is just tough enough to make it through 6 rounds. I really thought the o/u on this one should have been 6.5 so the fact that I am getting it at 5.5 and better than even money makes me happy. I would be shocked if Broner doesnt knock this guy out but I do think it comes in round 7 or later which would make me a winner.
My other play is D-Hop. I really like Hopkins and I think he is the more complete fighter. I was originally going to parlay Bika and Escobedo at -200 but I think the lower juice on D-Hop makes him the play. I'm not big on Whittaker I he has had some rough stretches and has mailed it in during at least 2 of his fights that I watched. Whittaker has only fought one tough opponent in the last 5 years and in that fight he was TKO'd. I think D-Hop represents a very tough challenge. Really don't enjoy laying this kind of juice on what I think is only a slightly above average fighter but there just aren't many options here.
