My closest friend that is a basketball guru has been talking about this Slam Dunk contest, he's hyping it to be the best since Vince Carter's performance.
According to him, these guys, although completely unknown to me, their entire reputation is built on dunking. He told me (found video, below) that James White and Gerald Green once had a one on one competition. Both could launch easily from the free throw line, and just do incredible things.
His dark horse is Terrence Ross, so all Eastern Conference guys. I trust his opinion fully. Given the Odds I am taking $50 on Green and $50 on Ross. White just not offering enough in terms of juice.
