they have already lost 3 games (none in regulation)

great team, but when it comes to playoffs the nhl is essentially a series of coin flips

Bruins/ BlackHawks SC final.
That'll put hockey on the map as it should be especially compared to the NBA.

odds of that are pretty high (5dimes has +400 boston to win east and +330 on chicago to win west) so if you feel that way, parlay those and get about 20-1 odds

only once in the last 6 years did a #1 seed win the stanley cup, the 2008 red wings

They were one of a few teams that stood pat and picked up al most no one in trades and free agents and GM Bowman was beat up both in newspapers and sports radio here...his reasoning was 2 fold, one was how long the strike would last and if they played he figured there would be no real preseason or training camp and the new players would have a hard time fitting in....he is having the last laugh now I would say...

if the last laugh is had only 15 days into the season then yes
