well, since the sportsbook industry, and sports betting in particular is a confidence (con) game...

Confidence, or rather over-confidence, has cost me at times...in that went maybe too much on something I really liked.

No matter how confident, always work within money management.

cant bet scared, but can't bet stupid either...always gonna be those bad streaks no matter what

I don't think confidence is important in sports betting, if anything I can think confidence is the downfall to most sportsbettors

guts might be a better word. That and bankroll to be able to ride-out a losing streak.

The the most important thing that matters is LUCK.

I feel it has a lot to do with sports betting. Having confidence in your knowledge & abilities to decipher games, situations, mental & emotional aspects are key to winning long term. I attack anything I play with confidence as I believe in my abilities to come out ahead when all is said & done. If you have no legitimate confidence, you have ZERO business gambling.

I think to a good capper, confidence can mean a lot when he goes on a losing streak & can begin second-guessing his own selections...
