Been to both (Tampa and Hollywood) first let me say that neither of these operations would survive 1 year in Vegas. The customer service and treatment of players sucks. This has nothing to do with te dealers at all by the way. It's the policy of the Seminole Indians to treat players with zero respect because they can get away with it.
Example #1 hard Rock Tampa .... I'm playing 25 dollar a hand BJ and I order a bud light. The fat gross server tells me 4.50.. Now I know they charge for drinks already which is a joke in itself but i give we a 10 and tell her keep the change. So 15 mins go by and I still for have the beer. I tell the floor and he just shrugs and says he doesn't control the server.... Fine . I finally see her and she says she already gave me the drink and points to an empty bottle in the cup holder....I say ummm no I don't think so and she starts arguing with me . Are these people fucking dumb or what??? I'm playin 25 a hand and tipped 5.50 on a 450 drink and they wnt to argue???! I tell the pit boss about it and he actually takes the servers side... I'm not drunk or anything at this point either.

I wouldn't give the Indians the right to sell discounted cigarettes. There is no casino control commission and they are stealing money from people. The stories in the past of them cheating winners is long.

Example 2 hard Rock Hollywood.... I'm playing 2-5 NL and I buy in for 500.. Pots get pretty big here... I order a bottle of water and they say 1 dollar please.... I almost fuxkin lost it... Then they bring one of those mini bottles with the hard rock logo!!!! They charge a 2-5 player a dollar for water.. That's a fuckin sin but to add to the injury it's water they basically pull out of the sink!!!

hollywood again...I am playing at a 25 per hand BJ bought in for 1k...I am paying for my waters and drinks like a fucking turd but still tipping everyone nicely. I go on a decent run and the pit boss is basically standing next to me as i am in 3rd base. I ask him if he can arrange a cigar for me...No big deal. I am tipping everyone and I am up around 800....He looks at me like I asked if I could fuck his wife and daughter at the same time....He says No we cant do that but you can go to the cigar stand outside....So let me see if I get this...I am playing roughly 50 per hand, I am up on you, I am paying for drinks, and you want me to stop and walk 15 mins to go get my own 8 dollar Cigar???? What sense does that make? I immediately cash out and tell them what a joke they are.
anyways the point I am trying to make is if your in FL for Poker please do not go to Hard Rock. Isle of Capri is much better. They treat treat the players great, the room is no smoking, and they have great games and tournaments at every level. Slots are nice also. Obviously they dont have BJ and table games bc the scalp em injuns have this shit on lock down in the state.....If it ever opens up the indians will be gone...
