I know we've had this discussion here but wanted some fresh takes on it. This is the first time this has ever happened to me.

In the NBA All-Star game I took "Carmelo will MAKE his first FG attempt +100". I know it was initially (correctly) graded as a loss...I saw him throw up that chunk brick 3 at the beginning of the game, and after the game it was definitely graded a loss. I just noticed this morning going through my graded wagers that it is now a win. :think2:

So I should tell the book right? Isn't that the consensus everyone usually comes too? The amount of the prop was very small. Book is 5d BTW.

Do as you choose however I feel honesty is always the best thing.

When I signed up at Heritage recently the guy who set up my account added a 21% bonus instead of 16% bonus so I kindly asked him why it was X amount that it should be a bit less. He re-calculated and thanked me for being honest about the situation.

Do the right thing.... Maybe Tony will throw you a Bone :)

Yeah, it's not so much about that as I feel like not saying something is bad karma and I will go on a losing streak. Silly I know but I kinda feel like being honest about it is better karma...

Weird how common it is for props to be graded incorrectly

Tell them. Odds are if it was that small a bet, they'll either let you keep it or give you a Bonus Play. Might come in handy down the road if there's ever a dispute or payout issue.

Yeah so I told the lady on live chat. I said "I belive ticket # xxx was graded incorrectly in my favor".
She says "Let me check your account...one second."
She comes back some 10 minutes later: "Did C. Anthony miss his first shot attempt?"
Me: "Yes, but he made his next two if that's worth anything."

Not that it really matters, how much was the wager. Also what happened during the rest of the chat and what was the outcome? Cliffhangers are bad!

She said they would look into it. When she asked her if there was anything else she could help with I said "no, but tell Tony therx said hello". She said she would. Wanted him to know we had honest folks over here.

Very small wager. The chat wasn't really any more than I posted. I just logged in and the amount has been deducted from my balance although my graded wager still says win and there is no note of adjustment. Also no email thanking me or Bonus Play or anything but that's not what I was after. Karma is now on my side my friend.

Did they say thanks for bringing this to our attention or acknowledge you did the right thing?
